The Golden Eagles, other awards presented

At our recent Class Day celebration, several of our biggest athletic department awards were presented. First came the Golden Eagle Horizon Awards. Underclassmen who win this award will be wearing the uniform patch on their game jerseys next year (see photo above). These will be presented at halftime of the first home football game. Seniors were presented plaques commemmorating their achievement.
Following the presentation of the "Golden Eagles", the Senior Scholar Athletes were announced. The Senior Female Scholar Athlete for this year was Gene Marie Record. Honored as the Senior Male Scholar Athlete of the Year was Seth Box.
The 19th recepient of the Kevin Works Memorial School Spirit Award was Jefferson Walker, senior soccer player.
